A place that is just an hour and a half drive from your home in Delhi and offers comfort and luxury at the same time deserves to be explored. The Courtyard Aravali Resort by Marriott in Faridabad is an affordable luxury retreat for families, friends and business guests who can enjoy the breathtaking view of the hills.
The resort is located in Faridabad, tucked in the Aravalis, quite away from the pell-mell of the city. On your way, you will also encounter some farms, which create a whole rustic vibe to the journey.
So, what’s the comfort luxury you can get at the Courtyard? The resort offers Deluxe Guest rooms to mid-range Premium Rooms with Sit-out and Family and Executive Suites. Each room is designed with the modern European set-up along with all in-room facilities including an electronic digital safe, mini fridge and bar and bathrobes.
Now, once you are at the property, how do you unwind yourself? The resort brings a rejuvenating experience with the ‘Nilaya’ spa; for early risers, sunrise yoga, trekking, and children’s activities and poolside fun like Aqua Zumba.
One of my most cherished experiences was the ‘Nilaya’ spa. A rejuvenating experience for not just the body, but for the mind as well. Unlike limited services offered by many hotels, the Aravali resort brings an array of tranquil experiences under Nilaya. The standards are as high as the international level, with spa ingredients and practices traditional.
The ‘Sunrise Yoga’ is another soulful experience at the Aravali resort, where carefully crafted routine of different ‘asanas’ and postures enrich your morning.
Proceeding from there would be the breakfast that has a handsome spread of juices, fruits, cheeses and Indian and continental foods. An interesting concept embedded in the breakfast routine is the local women making fresh parathas and serving with homemade yoghurt, pickles and tea at the live counters to the guests, who opt for it. Actually, who wouldn’t?!
Food is sacred to many. While many people like only their comfort meals, some enjoy experimenting different cuisines. The Aravali Kitchen and Huang offer a variety of dishes, some of them specially crafted for clients who like to dig in to a whole new experience. My interaction with Chef Souvik at the Aravali resort was quite enriching and exciting as he presented varied cuisines on the cultural spectrum from Thai curries to Japanese Ramen and Wasabi ice-cream, Jamaican ribs, Italian Arancini and Tiramisu, Peruvian Ceviche and Lamb chops.
The property would be a perfect weekend escape for you and your family or friends to soak in to the quietude for a few days. The hospitality has a brand name that you can trust, and the food and location are the highlights of the Aravali resort.
