JAIPUR, India — G Adventures will launch a new collection of itineraries for solo travelers in 2025.
Solo-Ish Adventures will cater to solo travelers who want to travel with other like-minded individuals in the form of small-group journeys.
The adventure travel company unveiled the collection here at its second annual community-tourism conference, the GX Summit.
“We’re introducing this solo group-travel style reimagined with community at its core, exclusively for solo travelers with itineraries crafted for instant connection,” Ben Perlo, CEO of G Adventures, said at the GX Summit.
The collection will feature a roster of 25 destinations and itineraries designed to build fast connections between travelers as they embark on a shared travel experience.
For example, on day one, travelers can expect a dinner party where they’ll get to know their travel companions, followed by experiences on day two that will enable guests to bond with each other through the local communities they visit.
Perlo described it as “travel for yourself, not by yourself.”
Solo-Ish trips will be led by a team of all-female tour managers, or chief experience officers — called CEOs in G Adventures’ parlance. The company said a female-led CEO team will create more opportunities for women in travel and will help put travelers at ease abroad.
Travelers booking Solo-Ish trips will be paired with a roommate, but they can also opt for a private room. All solo trips include an arrival transfer, and each itinerary includes a dedicated day of free time.
